Texas Township, Crooked Lake – Major Remodel

Everyone else saw a 49’ wide, small, sloped lot with an almost 30’ drop from the road to the lake. Pennings and Sons saw an opportunity for a truly one-of-a-kind design that incorporates the client’s California Modern Architecture desires into a beautiful Michigan lake home. The 2-bed, 3-bath home includes offset roof lines, multiple exterior textures, multiple decks, and a custom open tread staircase, providing a spacious feel coupled with amazing lake views from the moment you stroll through the front door. The home also provides a barrier free entry and is ADA compliant. This home is fully electric – an electric HVAC system, electric appliances, an EV charger, heated tile bathroom floors – all powered by an almost unnoticeable solar panel array on the roof.
